Prescription Drug Take Back in Bowie Saturday

Unused and expired prescription medications will be collected at the Bowie Police Station from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Have some old, unused, unwanted, expired prescription medications rattling around in your medicine chest? Get rid of them Saturday in Bowie as part of a national prescription drug take back initiative. 

As part of this effort, the Drug Enforcement Administration coordinates with state and local law enforcement agencies with the aim of getting unused and/or expired controlled substances out of people's homes. 

In Bowie, medications will be collected from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bowie Police Station, located at 15901 Excalibur Rd.. For more information, contact Sgt. Bennie Henderson at 301-575-1824.
