Samuel Ogle Students Head to Science Bowl Semifinals

The Bowie middle schoolers beat opponents Samuel P. Massie 355-115.


Samuel Ogle Middle School students, parents and science lovers have something to cheer about this week, thanks to the school’s Science Bowl team.

After entering the halftime of their quarter final match against Samuel P. Massie down 90-100, the team of Bowie middle schoolers came back in the second half to dominate their opponents and win the match 355-115, reported the Gazette.

The Prince George's County Public School's Science Bowl is a televised science competition for students that is in its 27th year. 

Ogle Middle, who has never won a Science Bowl, takes on Kenmoor Middle in the semifinals on March 26, according to the Gazette.
