I've been in the Perry Hall area for 35 years and all the county ever does is re-draw school boundaries. To their credit, several elementary schools have been built. However, this just kicks the can down the road and eventually the "fit will hit the shan" ( which we are very close to ).

Schools cost money to bulid and the county does not want to spend money. Sadly,
over 200 acres at the defunct " Crossroads @ 95 " will be used for over 1700
homes instead of building a new high school.( you need about 60 acres for a high school ). Now isn't that a GREAT idea??? YEP.....let's overload the area, and it's schools... MORE!! Folks, this is called "Smart Growth".

Tim, do you live on Kilkenny Circle or Kilkenny Ct?? I'm going to guess that you don't!

Permit Parking did solve their parking problem. Also, you are incorrect when you state that students that do not park there are the problem....they are.

I live on Hedgerow and I see it all the time. Seniors are there at all hours of the day....9,10,11,12,1,2......get it. That's because many Seniors get out EARLY because they have accrued 25 points. The principal told me what the 25 pts. mean.... and I still don't understand the program.

'Bmore Matt' is correct. These requests have been turned down in the past EXCEPT
for Kilkenny Cr. and Kilkenny Ct

Why Kilkenny Cr. got the permits is beyond me. Take a look at the map of Kilkenny Cr. The kids would park in the vicinity of only the 4-6 homes nearest Ebenezer Rd. on the west side of Kilkenny Cr. and yet they got their permits. Meanwhile, approx. 60 homes on Hedgerow, Jacinth, and Perryvale were DENIED, and these homes were being seriousle affected. The county denied permits for those homes saying that it would just move the problem to another area.

DUHH!! That is exactly what will happen this time. The problem will be pushed further up Jacinth and onto Hedgerow.

Let's also not leave out casting blame on the PHHS administrators. The school says that they can't do anything except make announcements over the school PA.

Um...you could have a remote starter installed!! I know, that costs a few bucks. People would MUCH rather spend their bucks on the latest, greatest smart phone, X-Box or IPAD, etc.,etc. Let's not be clear thinking and logical about this....OK!!

It was a sad day for me, and Baltimore, when 'The Voice of Reason' Mr.Ron Smith
( WBAL ) passed away. The man was brilliant and insightful. I miss him. Personally, in my humble opinion, Mr. Rodericks can't hold a candle to Mr. Smith.

Mr. Rodericks did make some good points. I wish the media in general would just get back to reporting the news and stop all the opinions.

I cancelled my newspaper subscription many years ago because 'The Sunpaper' is
merely the 'Baltimore Edition' of the Chicago Tribune. The majority of bylines are from the Tribune. Sorry, the Tribune is w-a-y too left of center for me. IMHO.

I can't stand this state any longer. Enough is enough!! I plan on moving to PA. Why, not for the taxes, because every state has their way of GETTING you. I'm moving to PA because they are PRO 2nd Amendment AND they are a " Shall carry" state. PERIOD.
