ReplyVaccaro's was already there and the people of Annapolis were too unaccustomed to the high quality and did not frequent. Fawcetts was there for a hundred years and had to move so we do not need another Chandler. Dean and De Luca sells way-overpriced and outdated products. Artists cannot pay rent from the proceeds of their homespun alpaca sweaters or simply-crafted pottery or art, whatever that is. Need a couple of good restaurants and bars that sell quality and food from the Chesapeake, and Smith Island cakes.

ReplyAnd these are the people who would be using the community gardens that Grow Annapolis has been trying to establish at the Kingsport Playground. I know the perpetrators were not local, the victim was, none of them the nicest people to share a playground with.

They don't earn their keep. They sit around half the day and exercise the rest, and don't forget about time to converse with their court-appointed defender and file appeals. They suck off the taxpayers and make a mockery of any democratic justice system. I wonder if this so-called poll includes any of the victims.

ReplyI wish them luck in selling this at this price. It is assessed and is taxed at a value of $2,792,700. Either it is way overpriced or way undervalued for Annapolis tax purposes. Most houses in that area are assessed and taxed at real value. Something funny and not quite fair going on here

ReplyDid he collide with a tree or roll down an embankment? You are confusing the accident details with the second middy who died.

ReplyMike, you are correct. We are getting half the service for 11% drop in cost. We have lost 39% of return on the money paid for trash removal. I can manage with once-a-week pickup, but it will create a lot of problems for people with large families and little storage. We will see an increase in the number or rodents and other foraging animals.

ReplyAnna, thanks for the info. Why doesn't everyone who has been gouged create a web site to post the names of the businesses and the details of the gouging? That way the public can create supply and demand. Demand will be much less at these unethical and greedy businesses. I will not purchase from those who seek to benefit from the unfortunate circumstances of others. Integrity and compassion is more important that money and opportunistic greed.

Annapolis may be pet-friendly to traveling dogs, but Annapolis is not friendly towards resident cats. It has a leash law that is cruel to cats. It is one of the few jurisdictions that is so negative towards cats.
