Two New Stores Opening in Bowie Town Center
Francesca's Collections and Fashion to Figure are both set to open this spring.
Although the recent closing of the Old Navy at Bowie Town Center has dismayed many residents, two new tenants will open up storefronts in the shopping center this spring. Francesca’s Collections, a women’s clothing, jewelry and accessory store, is slated to up a 1,500 square foot store in Bowie Town Center in April, according to a press release. The store will sit at the corner of Emerald Way and Town Center Boulevard, just across from the food court. The second new retailer, Fashion to Figure is also set to open in early spring. This store specializes in selling “up-to-the-minute fashion trends at the best prices” in plus sizes, according to a press release. The 3,100 square foot store will be located near Macy’s. If the owners of the BTC were willing to negotiate thier lease prices the big names like Old Navy and Bed, Bath, and Beyond would have stayed in place. They were not willing to negotiate and because of that more stores are planning to leave in the very near future.   more ›
