Local Man Arrested on Burglary, Drug Charges

Based on tips from citizens, a police search of a Bowie man's home turned up stolen merchandise, drugs and drug paraphernalia, resulting in his arrest on charges of burglary and drug distribution. Bowie police said they had received multiple citizen complaints that the suspect, Trevin Drew Coleman, 18, was selling drugs in the P section. Police ran Coleman’s name through the LInX crime database and found he had recently pawned jewelry inscribed with someone else’s name. Officers reviewed recent burglary reports and found the name inscribed on the items matched the victim of an October burglary from the 1100 block of Pennypacker Lane.
