The Washington Redskins will hand out food to feed 3,500 Prince George's needy families this Thanksgiving today at FedEx Field.

For the tenth year, The Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation will provide a Thanksgiving meal for 3,500 needy Prince George's County families Tuesday as a part of their annual Harvest Feast. The families had to pre-register and qualify to receive the food. The event is not open to the public. The Redskins have passed out over 818,600 pounds of packaged and fresh food and 285,500 pounds of turkey to families in need since 2003. The children in attendance will get meet Santa and receive gift bags as well. The event will be held from noon to 5 p.m.
