Michael Phelps is coming out of retirement to compete in an event in Arizona later this month. File|Patch

What does Mike retiring have a thing to do with the young up and comers having a chance ? They haveRead More a chance to swim against him and beat him if they train hard enough !!!!!! That is why its a competition . I believe retirement at 30 is absurd . They pay those guys to much if they can retire at age 30.

I couldn't care less. I cant stand his dufus face on Subway commercials.

I have heard from several people but have never met him myself but they say he is a real assholeRead More when it comes to talking to him on the street . I have never met him he looks like he can be a ass especially after getting his photo taken while smoking weed . When you are in the public image you don't go to parties and smoke weed at friends parties while people are snapping photos !!!!

Probably got married so that she could not be forced to testify against him...she's in the money,Read More mission accomplished..

Good for her. Hopefully with all that is going on, he eased up on the strings of a prenuptialRead More agreement to show he trusts her so she should trust him, then a year from now she files for divorce and takes him to the cleaners then it's back to the ghetto he goes. Alone and broke as Fred Sanford

Disappointing and embarrassing for the whole Baltimore metropolitan area.

We treat professional athletes like they are bullet proof gods and we never hold them to the sameRead More standards as the rest of us. Yet, if "Bob" your next door neighbor got caught on camera in a public place punching his wife in the face and knocking her out... people would be crying for him to be hung. Fact is... Rice got caught on the elevator camera being a BULLY punching his wife in the face and knocking her out. She was scared and is still scared of him and wanted everything dropped (typical beaten wife syndrome). Now the police are taking over and doing the right thing. I hope we cut this jerk!

If the NFL was a legitimate sports venue and not a group of show boating black half ass. AthletesRead More this guy would be dismissed/fired on the spot along with the other two. All the teams and team owners are nothing more than a bunch of illiterate thug making millions of dollars to play sports.

Eh, the Olympics are a waste of time and money anyway.
Maryellen Brady February 22, 2014 at 01:36 pm
I dont think the OLYMPICS is a waste of time. It is a great source of inspiration and accomplishmentRead More for many young, old and even handicapped people. It is just the embarrassment the OLYMPIC committee has allowed it to warp into. SOCHI was an unfit site for WINTER OLYMPICS and the committee bowed to political pressures, instead of looking out for a fair and safe place for athletes to compete. The SHAME is on the Olympic committee and the team managers that allowed COMMERCIALISM to contaminate those competitors.

Whiners always blame someone or something else when they lose. It's never their fault! They gotRead More their butts kicked, admit it! The Olympics is not about competing for your country any more, it's about competing for the almighty dollar!

Maria how true. When they first came out as a year-round golfer (the swing's the thing) I bought oneRead More of their thermal shirts. The size I normally wear was way too small. I had to go three sizes above it and that to was very restricting. I bought it to avoid bulking with thicker clothes to be able to swing the club. It was actually more restricting than the thicker sweaters. I never bought UA again.
Barbara Dennison February 15, 2014 at 02:45 pm
Don't blame the suits or the company. They did not skate as well as others.
craig February 16, 2014 at 04:38 pm
They haven't skated any better in the old ones. ...Guess it's just their lousy skating that's theRead More only issue. To bad the only thing people will remember is it's under armour's fault.
macgeek February 12, 2014 at 12:23 pm
hope she does well but I cant stand the Olympics. why would they have it in a country with noRead More drinking water or flushing toilets, and with a high probability of terrorist attacks makes no sense to me. could have picked a million other better places to have it. Russia is pretty anti American so I would not spend my hard earned money there. friend of mine was raised in a Russian orphanage and abused as a child...he and other kids were treated horribly in Russia. Something you won't hear the press report here... I have no interest or respect for Russia.
