The Bowie Golf and Country Club is Bowie's only golf course; it features an 18-hole course that spans over 6,142 yards. Memberships are available for special rates, but it is a public course that promotes a more relaxed environment for golfers of all skill levels to comfortably play the course. Complete with pro shop, driving range, practice field and putting green, the club has all of the amenities of the professional golfing experience. The clubhouse is a converted masonry farmhouse established in 1724, and the course itself has been in Bowie since 1959.
