Allen Pond Park is in the heart of Bowie, not far from the Bowie Town Center. The 85-acre park is one of the most diverse in the area, with everything from horeshoes to ice skating available. There is an amphitheater, trails, playgrounds, a skate park and athletic fields (use by permit only). There is also a stocked, 10-acre fishing pond, which requires a permit for any person over 16.
