What's the Free State's Favorite Beer?
Predictable or edgy? See the Maryland results from a national survey.

If you live in Maryland, chances are you unwind with a cold Blue Moon. So says Blowfish for Hangovers, which produces caffeine and aspirin-based hangover tablets. Whether the product works or not, the company's survey has some amusing results.
According to the company, they surveyed the United States, asking residents to pick from a menu of 18 beers (write-ins were allowed). They then mapped the results for the nation.
Blue Moon carried the most states, including Maryland, with Bud Light having a strong showing. Sam Adams swept New England and New Jersey.
If you're not a beer drinker, chances are your favorite mixed drink in Maryland is Sangria, followed by a Margarita and then a rum and Coke. Most states went with either a Margarita or rum and Coke, according to the map.
What about shots? Maryland, like many states, prefers Lemon Drops, according to Blowfish. Lemon Drops. Somewhere in your favorite bar, a grizzled old whiskey drinker just rolled his or her eyes.
