Holiday Festival of Trains at the B&O
When: Friday
Where: B&O Railroad Museum, 901 W. Pratt St., Baltimore
Details: Celebrate the holiday season at Baltimore’s largest holiday display 
of toy and model train layouts. Santa arrives by locomotive to the Roundhouse 
at 10:30 a.m. on Friday.

Pet Portraits with Santa
When: Saturday
Where: Highway Vet Hospital at 2604 Crain Highway, Bowie
Details: Professional portraits taken of either your pet with Santa, you and your pet, your pet alone. The cost is $10 for 1-4x6 photo in decorative Holiday folder given to you at time of photography, $20 for images placed on a CD and mailed to you one week after portrait session. Proceeds will benefit the county animal shelter.

Shrimp Fest
When: Saturday
Where: American Legion Post 66, 9605 Laurel-Bowie Rd., Bowie
Details: Shrimp, mac and cheese, corn on the cob cornbread and more for $15 per person. 

Wreath Workshop
When: Saturday
Where: Historic London Town Gardens, 839 Londontown Rd., Edgewater
Details: Start the season early by creating your own holiday decorations. You can make a wreath, a table- top topiary, or both. All materials will be provided. Fees are $35 for the wreath project, $35 for the topiary project or $55 for both.

Jug Bay 'Post Turkey' Trail 5K
When: Saturday
Where:  5702 Plummer Ln., Lothian
