More Snow, Sleet Expected in Bowie Saturday

National weather service predicts a quarter to a half an inch of new precipitation Saturday.

For the third time this week, The National Weather Service is calling for wintry weather in Bowie.

Friday night will be clear, but cold, with temperatures in the low 30s. 

On Saturday, snow is likely before 11 a.m. Rain, sleet and snow are expected between 11 a.m and 2 p.m., at which point the precipitation will switch over to all rain. Chance of precipitation Saturday is 90 percent, with new accumulations of a quarter and a half an inch possible. Highs Saturday will be around 36. 

The rain will continue into Saturday night, tapering off around 1 a.m. Sunday will be partly Sunny with highs around 40 degrees.
