70 Degree Temperatures Expected in Bowie Sunday

The National Weather Service is predicting the weather will warm up significantly Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Break out those T-shirts and capris because the bitter cold of the past few days is melting away this weekend, according to National Weather Service predictions.

Highs Thursday are expected to reach the low 50s under mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will drop to 35 Thursday night, but by Friday it will feel like spring is in the air—the predicted high is 58 degrees, and skies will be partly sunny. Temps will drop to around 45 degrees Friday night.

On Saturday, partly sunny skies are predicted again, and temps are expected to reach 61 degrees. Things will stay warmer over night, with lows expected around 57 degrees.

Sunday's highs could reach 72—yes, 72—degrees. Skies will be cloudy during the day, and NWS is calling for a 90 percent chance of rain Sunday night.
