Don't expect the sunny and mild winter temperatures we experienced during the day on Monday to stick around for the rest of the week.

Freezing temperatures are expected day and night until Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

Snow is predicted for Tuesday night, with flakes falling between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m. Less than half an inch is expected, with temperatures dropping to a low of 11 degrees.

Expect a bitterly cold Wednesday with wind chill values dropping to zero and a daytime high of 26 followed by a nighttime low predicted around 11 degrees.

Thursday is expected to be sunny with a high near 32 and a night time low of 21.

On Friday, we're likely to see temperatures rise above freezing, with a high of 41 predicted. At night, the air will cool to a low of 28.
