Bowie Voter Guide: What You Need to Know to Vote on Nov. 5

Where to vote, when to vote and how to vote in Bowie's municipal elections Tuesday.

Citizens of Bowie, get ready to cast your ballots.

Tuesday, Nov. 5 is election day. All registered voters in the City of Bowie are eligible to vote for city council candidates and on one advisory question

Here's everything you need to know to vote on Tuesday:

When to vote: Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 5.
Where to vote: Check here for a list of polling locations
Absentee ballots: Applications for absentee ballots are due Monday. Ballots must be returned to City Hall by 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Who to vote for: Each resident will have a chance to vote for one candidate to represent his or her district, two at-large candidates, one mayoral candidate and on one advisory question.
What's the advisory question: Voters will be asked to answer "yes" or "no" to the following question: "Do you support four-year terms for the Mayor and City Council?" (Current council terms are two years.)
