Prince George's County Department of Parks and Recreation will be collecting unused, unwanted bicycles of all sizes for Bikes for the World, a sponsored project of the Washington Area Bicyclist Association. Donated bikes will go to selected non-profit agencies in Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean, and just about anywhere they are needed and delivery is feasible. Tax receipts will be available; monetary donations are also welcome. Baysox Stadium will be one of six drop sites; see the link below for additional locations.
