Fourth of July in Bowie: A Boom or a Bust?

Breaking with decades long tradition, the City of Bowie moved their Fourth of July fireworks display and celebration from Allen Pond Park to Prince George's Stadium.

The city cited several reasons for the move, including citizen safety, ample facilities like parking and bathrooms, and increased space.
