Reading Trips Baysox, 6-2

Phillies use five-run fourth to take command and beat Bowie.

Bowie got into a big hole early against Reading Tuesday night, and the Philles didn't have much trouble en route to a 6-2 victory at Prince George's Stadium.

Joe Savery blasted a grand slam off Chorye Spoone (2-5) in the fourth inning as Reading scored five runs for a 5-0 lead. Matt Rizzotti added a solo homer in the fifth for Reading's other run.

Bowie scored both of its runs in the fourth as Kyle Hudson and Robbie Widlansky each knocked in one.
