Pancakes and Prizes: Bowie Baysox Celebrate the Season
Crafts, games, pancakes and Louie. What more more do you need to make the season merry and bright?
Put a little swing in the holiday season by celebrating with the Bowie Baysox at their free holiday open house.
Head to Prince George's Stadium from 6 to 8 p.m. on Dec. 13 for crafts on the concourse, a visit to the team store and maybe even a little face time with Old St. Nick.
Inflatable games and the cornhole boards will be set up on the concourse, and there will be free hot chocolate and cookies for all attendees. Fan favorites Louie and Rocko will both make appearances. Craft activities include Christmas card and ornament making.
For an additional fee, open house guests can also attend the pancake dinner—which is being held concurrently with the open house—in the Diamond View Restaurant.
The menu features pancakes, sausage patties, cranberry juice, hot chocolate and coffee. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for children, and must be ordered online here prior to 5 p.m. Dec. 11.
Proceeds from the dinner will be donated to the Bowie Interfaith Food Pantry.
