Ninth-Inning Run Gives Bowie 3-2 Win
Baysox waste early 2-0 lead, but get victory with late run.
Robbie Widlansky hit a sacrifice fly in the ninth inning to give Bowie a 3-2 victory over Altoona Tuesday night.
Widlansky's sacrifice fly came with one out and scored Carlos Rojas with the winning run. Altoona threatened in the bottom of the ninth against closer Jose Diaz, getting a runner on third with one out.
But Diaz hung in and struck out the final two batters to lock up his 14th save and give Bowie a second straight victory.

The Baysox scored single runs in the first and third to take an early 2-0 lead before the Curve tied it with runs in the third and seventh.
Bowie improved to 23-22 and tied for first with Harrisburg (22-21) in the division.
