Chair Yoga

If you would like to take advantage of the many healing properties of yoga, but you need to take it easier on your body and gradually increase your balance,  flexibility and strength, Chair Yoga allows you to work on basic poses without worrying so much about balance.   This class is perfect for those who are protecting shoulders, backs, hips, or knees. Modifications allow you to make this a vigorous or relaxing of a workout as you need. All our poses are performed either sitting in or standing behind the chair.  There is no floor work in this class.
