Bowie Gardens for Wildlife - Certified Habitat Tour Date Set: MAY 19, 11-3 The first annual Bowie Gardens for Wildlife Certified Habitat Tour will be Saturday, May 19, from 11 am to 3 pm. Tour a sample of Bowie’s National Wildlife Federation-certified habitats to see, first-hand, how your neighbors are providing food, water, places for cover, places for shelter, and using sustainable gardening practices to counter habitat loss and destruction. The tour is just one effort to increase awareness and encourage code-compliant wildlife habitat gardening in support of Bowie becoming a certified Community Wildlife Habitat.
