Erie scored runs in six of the eight innings it hit and rolled to a 10-2 victory over the Baysox Saturday night.
Despite the loss, Bowie (15-14) remained in first place in the Eastern League's Western Division, holding a half-game lead. The division is very tight, with just two games separating the six teams in it.
Wynn Pelzer (1-2) had been almost unhittable at times until this start, but the Bowie pitcher gave up eight runs on 10 hits in just five innings as the SeaWolves took an 8-1 lead.
