Zach Clark just missed a complete game and pitched well again to help Bowie to a 6-2 victory over Akron Thursday.
Clark retired the first 14 Aeros he faced and wound up throwing 123 pitches. He allowed only two earned runs on three hits and improved to 4-1 with a 3.05 ERA.

Bowie (18-16) took command with a five-run third inning. Brandon Waring's two-run single was the big hit. Pedro Florimon added an RBI single in the seventh to make it 6-1.
The Baysox now have a one-game lead over both Altoona and Harrisburg in the Eastern League's Western Division.
