Bowie Wins 5th Straight, Rolls Over Altoona, 9-4

Baysox bang out 19 hits for second straight night, win easily despite five errors.

Bowie got 19 hits for a second straight night and stretched its winning streak to five with a 9-4 victory over Altoona on Sunday.

The Baysox banged out a season-best 19 hits in Saturday's 12-10 win, and they did it again in this game. Bowie's offense seems to have come to life thanks to the good hitting of L.J. Hoes and Joe Mahoney in the middle of the order—both went 3-for-5 in this game.

Greg Miclat also has been on a roll. He went 2-for-4, scored three runs and stole two more bases. That moved him into second place in the Eastern League with 30 steals.
