Bowie State Football Loses in the Snow
Bulldogs fall at Shepherd in West Virginia, will end season at home Saturday against Chowan.
The Bowie State football team fell to 4-5 overall with a 38-17 loss on Saturday against host Shepherd in a game played in the snow in West Virginia.
The Bulldogs threw five interceptions against Shepherd, a strong Division II program that is now 7-2 overall this season.
Clifton Budd, one of the quarterbacks for Bowie State, ran 11 times for 95 yards but completed just three of six passes and threw two interceptions. Tyrae Reid, the other quarterback for Bowie State, completed one of seven passes and threw three interceptions.

Bowie State ends the season at home this Saturday, Nov. 5 against Chowan of North Carolina. Bowie State seniors will be honored at 12:30 p.m., with kickoff at 1 p.m.
Chowan is 2-7 this season.
