Bowie Splits DH With Erie
Baysox lose first game but bounce back to take the nightcap on Saturday afternoon
Bowie split its doubleheader with host Erie on Saturday afternoon.
Erie rolled to a 15-6 victory over the Baysox in the first game. Bowie came back and scored a 5-3 decision in the second game—both were seven innings, which is the length for minor league doubleheaders.
Jeff Fiorentino drove in three runs in the first game where Erie scored multiple runs in five of its six innings.

Robbie Widlansky drove in all of the runs for Bowie in the second game. He went 4-for-4 with two doubles and a homer. His two-run homer tied the game at 3 in the top of the sixth and a two-run double snapped that deadlock in the seventh.
Pedro Viola (1-0) got the win with an inning of scoreless relief, and Jose Diaz picked up his sixth save.
