Bowie Baysox to Host Legends of Wrestling Night on Wednesday

Last night, the Bowie Baysox began their six-game homestand with an 11-6 victory over the Portland Sea Dogs and fans were treated to beer specials, free hot dogs and Cracker Jacks as part of the Baysox’s on-going celebration of their 20th season.

Each of the remaining five nights of the homestand feature special promotions for fans:

Wednesday, June 13, 7:05 p.m. vs. Portland Sea Dogs. Meet and get an autograph from WWE legend Bret “The Hitman” Hart during tonight’s game. Additionally, members of the military can get a box seat for $8 with proof of service.

Thursday, June 14, 7:05 p.m. vs. Portland Sea Dogs. The first 500 fans age 21 and older will receive a Baysox 20th season logo pint glass from the City of Bowie.

Friday, June 15, 7:05 p.m. vs. New Hampshire Fisher Cats. Boy Scout troops are invited to camp out in the outfield following the game and post-game fireworks. Discounted tickets and food vouchers are available by contacting Chris Rogers at (301) 464-4813 or crogers@baysox.com.

Saturday, June 16, 6:35 p.m. vs. New Hampshire Fisher Cats. Honor the Negro Leagues with an autograph session with former Negro League players. Also, members of Louie's Kids Club can help celebrate his birthday with all his mascot pals, including the Oriole Bird.  

Sunday, June 17, 2:05 p.m. vs. New Hampshire Fisher Cats. Before the game, from 12:30 p.m. – 1:15 p.m., Baysox players and coaches will be available to meet fans and sign autographs on the concourse level. Additionally, the outfield will be open before the start of the game for fans to bring their gloves and baseballs and play catch on the field. Following the game, WRNR 103.1 will present a concert in the picnic pavilion.
