Bowie Baysox Host Crofton Family Night

Croftonites and baseball fans showed up for “Crofton Family Night” at the Bowie June 15.

Crofton Family Night was a fundraiser and awareness event to help fund the CRCC.

Plans for the center come at a time when community leaders say crime is seeping into the suburbs and young people are looking for safe places to get together.

The to build a 32,000 square-foot facility off Davidsonville Road. A $5,000 study will evaluate the terrain, underground pipes, infrastructure, stormwater runoff and treatment.
