Baysox Swept Away by New Britain

Rock Cats sweep doubleheader Sunday night in Bowie; Baysox slip to second place

The Bowie bats went silent at the wrong time Sunday night, as New Britain swept a doubleheader at Prince George's Stadium.

New Britain handed the Baysox losses of 3-0 and 6-1. That dropped Bowie's record to 67-54 this season. Harrisburg won its game, so that dropped Bowie to one game behind the Senators in the Western Division.

The Baysox couldn't do much on offense at the right times. They went a combined 1-for-13 with runners in scoring position in the doubleheader.
