Bowie gave Reading a little too much help Wednesday night, and the Phillies took advantage of it to score a 5-3 victory in a game at Prince George's Stadium.
The Baysox gave the Phillies a bases-loaded walk to score one run, an error that brought home another and wild pitch which handed Reading another run. That proved to be enough for the Phillies to get the win.
Robbie Widlansky and Brandon Waring each drove in one run for Bowie, but the lack of clutch hits hurt the Baysox yet again.

Bowie went just 2-for-11 with runners in scoring position and left 13 on base. That's been a big problem for the Baysox all season long. Bowie falls to 33-32 t his season.
