Baysox Bounce Back, Beat Richmond, 9-2
Waring's homer, Spoone's pitching helps Baysox rebound from Friday's loss.
Brandon Waring hit a three-run homer that gave Bowie the lead for good, and Chorye Spoone threw seven solid innings as the Baysox rolled to a 9-2 victory over Richmond Saturday at Prince George's Stadium.
Waring's three-run blast gave Bowie a 3-2 lead in the second after Richmond took an early 2-0 edge. The Baysox scored all of the runs after that.
They finished with 13 hits—the sixth time in seven games that Bowie's gotten at least 10 hits.
