Tornado Watch Cancels PGCPS After-School Activities
After care will still be provided per usual, according to the school system.
All Prince George's County Public School sponsored after-school activities are canceled Monday, due to the National Weather Service issued tornado watch, which will be in effect until 5 p.m.
After care will still be provided, according to a statement issued by the school system.
"Due to the threat of inclement weather, Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) has cancelled all after-school and evening activities for Monday, October 7, including athletic practices. After care will be provided as scheduled at school sites," reads the statement.
