Redskins Linebacker Darryl Tapp Encourages Healthy Habits in Bowie Students

The Washington Redskin linebacker visited Kenilworth Elementary Tuesday as part of a program that works to reduce childhood obesity.

Washington Redskins linebacker Darryl Tapp visited Kenilworth Elementary in Bowie Tuesday to talk to kids about being more active and living more healthy lifestyles.

He visited the school as part of Fuel Up to Play 60, a collaborative effort founded by the NFL, the National Dairy Council and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. It encourages children to make small changes in their own lives and at their schools that encourage sustainable, life-long healthy habits in an effort to reduce childhood obesity.
