The Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) Office of Pupil Accounting and School Boundaries will host public hearings on the Superintendent’s proposed boundary and grade structure changes created after public forums this fall.
Proposed changes include boundary concerns at Kingsford, Highland Park, Yorktown and Waldon Woods elementary schools; discussing the possibility of shifting sixth grade into middle schools; adjusting boundaries for specialty programs; ensuring that all students in a neighborhood attend the same schools; and the creation of two elementary dedicated TAG centers at Heather Hills and Glenarden Woods.
