Brown Bag Lecture at Belair Mansion

Join Historic Properties Manager Pam Williams for this brown bag lunch lecture on the history of tobacco in Maryland. Tobacco, or "sotweed" — as it was called by early settlers — was the base upon which Maryland's economic and cultural systems were built long ago. Participants should bring their own lunch; coffee and tea will be provided. There are no reservations required for this free lecture.
