Bowie State Hosts Golf Tournament
The event will serve as a fundraiser for the BSU Athletic Department.
Bowie State University will host its first Bulldog Golf Classic on Thursday, May 10, to support student scholarships and purchase new athletic equipment.
“Our goal to excel in academics and athletics is our number one priority. The investment in our students today will pay dividends in their lives in the future,” said Anton Goff, Athletic Director at Bowie State University in a statement.
Public participation is welcome in this event, which is being held at the Country Club at Woodmore in Mitchellville, MD. Registration and a practice range will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. An awards ceremony luncheon will take place at 3:30 p.m.
Individuals or parties of four can register for the tournament, and companies and individuals can also contribute through various sponsorship opportunities.
