Bowie High Students To Plunge Friday
The Brrrrdogs team, who have raised more than $4,000 for Special Olympics Maryland, will plunge at Sandy Point State Park in Annapolis.
The Brrrrdogs team will plunge into the Chesapeake Bay at on Friday, and raised more than $4,000 for Special Olympics Maryland.
Each student needed to raise at least $50 in donations in order to participate. As of Friday morning, the team had raised $4,136 towards their goal of $4,500.
The Frigid Friday plunge is part of the Maryland State Police Polar Bear Plunge activities this weekend. While most of the general public will plunge on Saturday, the Friday plunge has been set aside for students only.
