Bowie Academic Honors: Bowie State Graduates, Georgia Tech Dean's List

The following academic honors and degrees were recently earned by students from Bowie (as reported by their schools and family members):

Georgia Tech: Michael Lucchi of Bowie made the Dean's List for the fall 2012 semester. Yash Ambardekar, also of Bowie, received a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering. 

Central College: Sean Meehan of Bowie has been named the fall 2012 Dean's List. He is majoring in Exploring. Students named to the Dean's List must earn a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher.

Wasington College: Christy Littlefield of Bowie has been named to Dean's List for the fall 2012 semester. Students named to the Dean's List must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

The College of New Jersey: Emily Weisman of Bowie has been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2012 semester. Students named to the Dean's List must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Georgetown College (KY): Joshua Smith of Bowie has been named ot the Dean's list for the fall 2012 semester. Students named to the Dean's List must earn a GPA of 3.7 or higher.

James Madison University: Lindsay Kagalis of Bowie has been named to the President's List for the fall 2012 semester. She is a junior international affairs major. To make the President's List, students must carry at least 12 credit hours and earn a GPA of 3.9 or higher. Lisa Banks of Bowie was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2012 semester. She is a senior nursing major. To make the Dean's List, students must carry at least 12 credit hours and earn a GPA of between 3.5 and 3.89.

Wake Forest University: Nia Lesesne Makes of Bowie was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2012 semester. 

Tufts University: Natasha Gollin of Bowie has been named ot the Dean's List for the fall 2012 Semester. Gollin is expected to graduate in 2013. 

University of Hartford: Rachel Hager of Bowie has been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2012 semester.
