Baysox Host Inaugural Charity 5K
Proceeds from the event will support the Bowie Health Center, the Bowie Police Explorers, and Louie's Holiday Hope Project
Runners looking to get their fix and beat the heat this weekend should head over to Prince George’s Stadium for the Bowie Baysox’s inaugural Charity 5K and Kids Fun Run.
Starting at 8 a.m. Sunday, runners can join Prince George’s County Executive Rushern Baker to raise money for the , the Bowie Police Explorers, and Louie’s Holiday Hope Project.
Runners can expect a fun warm up with Baysox mascot Louie, a T-shirt, and a ticket to a future Baysox game.

Online registration is available through Thursday here, and walk-up registration also will be available the day of the event. Registration for the 5K is $35 and registration for the Kids Fun Run is $25.
