Washington Post: Bowie Man Pleads Guilty in Tax-Free Cigarette Scheme

Chun Chen of Bowie was buying and reselling untaxed cigarettes in connection with those arrested in the probe on then County Executive Jack Johnson.

According to the Associated Press, Chun Chen, the 34-year-old Bowie man in connection with the federal investigation on former County Executive Jack Johnson, pleaded guilty on Friday to "conspiring with others in a scheme to transport and distribute untaxed cigarettes."
