Show Your Bowie Pride on Your Ride

If enough residents express interest, the Maryland Vehicle Administration will offer "City of Bowie" license plates.

Do you love living in the city of Bowie?

Well, thanks to an initiative started by Bowie City Councilman Todd Turner (At-large), residents could have a new way to express their city pride-on their vehicles.

If 25 or more citizens express interest, the Maryland Vehicle Administration will begin offering “City of Bowie” license plates to city residents. The tags will cost $25 in addition to regular registration renewal fees, according to the city.

Anyone who wants to be counted among those interested in “City of Bowie” license plates should contact Denise Mahoney at 301-809-3031 or dmahoney@cityofbowie.org.
