Safely Shred Paper, Recycle Styrofoam on Saturday

Bowie residents can safely preserve and shred papers on Saturday at the Bowie High School parking lot.

From the City of Bowie website:

The City of Bowie is hosting a paper shredding and Styrofoam recycling event in the Bowie High School parking lot on Saturday, June 21, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Residents can bring up to five tall kitchen bags or five archive boxes for shredding. Documents may be observed while they are being shredded.

Styrofoam must be free of any glue or tape and must be of the type used to ship electronics.
