Peters to Offer School Board Redistricting Plan

The proposal will be discussed at a hearing tomorrow.

Senator Douglas J.J. Peters (D-Dist. 23) of Bowie today released a redistricting proposal on behalf of the Senate Delegation for the county school board.

“This proposal makes modest changes to the existing districts to reflect population changes revealed in the Census, and the vast majority of Prince George’s County residents will remain in their current school board district,” Peters said in a statement. “This plan will provide fair and equitable representation to the citizens of our county.”

The proposal is available here: http://www.princegeorgeshousedelegation.com/.
