Officials Release Jack, Leslie Johnson Phone Call

Both are scheduled to be sentenced next month.

It's been one year since federal officials former County Executive Jack B. Johnson and his wife, Leslie, on federal charges stemming from a supposed pay-to-play scheme in Prince George's County.

Both have pleaded guilty in federal court, and both are due to be sentenced next month. Leslie E. Johnson, the District 6 County Councilwoman at the time, . .

On Monday, federal officials released the phone call between the Johnsons, in which Jack suggested Leslie flush a $100,000 check from a developer and stuff $79,600 in her bra. On the call, you can hear the FBI banging on the Johnsons' front door, as they determine what to do with the money.
