Letter to the Editor: County Democrats Donate to Curry Cancer Fund
The Prince George's Democratic Central Committee has contributed $1,500 to the Wayne K. Curry cancer fund. The group is urging others to help the effort to fight lung cancer.
Hello Fellow Prince Georgians,
The Prince George's Democratic Central Committee has contributed $1,500 to the Wayne K. Curry Lung Cancer Disparity Awareness Fund in honor of Mr. Curry’s life, service and passion to his beloved Prince George’s County. In the final days of Wayne’s life, he wanted to bring attention to lung cancer and the high numbers that disproportionately affect the African-American community.
I hope you will join us in supporting Mr. Curry’s desire to do all that we can to eradicate this disease.
