Ingrid Turner to Host Community Update on South Bowie Library

City and county officials, library personnel and representatives from the developers will be on hand to answer any questions and address concerns from members of the community.

Slated to open next summer, the South Bowie library is and tonight County Council Chair and District 4 Representative Ingrid Turner will lead a community meeting to discuss the concerns about the library and answer questions from the affected parties.

Tonight from 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at the multi-purpose room in the (16408 Pointer Ridge Dr), community members can come to hear an update on the construction project and have a chance to have concerns addressed by the decision makers.

The 45,000 square foot, two floor South Bowie branch is a $14.1 million project and is being built on a 17-acre parcel of land at Central Avenue and Hall Road near the Collington Station and Devonshire Estates neighborhoods, which are adjacent to the Pointer Ridge section of Bowie.
