The Bowie Lions is co-sponsoring with the City of Bowie and the Chamber of Commerce a Green Expo.
There will be demonstrations, displays, tours of the building (Silver LEED Certification), rain barrels for sale, and companies presenting their products that are dedicated to creating a greener environment.
The Green Expo is a three hour, free admission, family-friendly event, featuring local environmental agencies, nonprofits, and local and regional businesses who offer green products or services. The Expo will take place at the Bowie Parks and Grounds building located at 3106 Mitchellville Rd on April 2, 2011 from 1 pm until 4 pm.
