The Bowie City Council meets on the first and third Mondays of each month. All meetings begin at 8 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.
In general, there are two times during a Regular Meeting when the public can make comments:
- Citizen Participation - at the beginning of the meeting, the public may speak about any topic relating to Bowie. The time limit is five minutes.
- During Public Hearings - the public can comment on a particular issue being voted on by the Council during the Public Hearing portion of Regular Meetings.
Call the City Clerk's Office at 301-809-3029 to verify meeting agendas or to sign up to speak at a Council Meeting.
